Hey Sunny, I have heard about the no cable thing since moving to Oklahoma 3 years ago (no one in Texas talks about this, by the way). :) I'd had a really hard time convincing myself, and then Ryan (the hubs) that we really could do without cable, DVR, the HD channels and our very large television. We recently got rid of all of it (I'll admit we still have local cable channels for the weather - tornado surprise? No thanks. As well as because of our cable internet connection). I am seeing a huge difference in how we spend our time. We're big movie watchers anyway, so we still do that often. But I feel like we're connecting more with each other and the outside world. I'm encouraged that you're still without a year later. We'll see where we end up.
