Leadership Summit 08 Begins Today

I’m sitting at kitchen table at my sister’s house in Illinois, thinking about the Willow Creek Leadership Summit that begins in two hours.  I’m really thankful that I can attend this event and be able to spend a little time with my family as well.

I’m not sure what God is going to teach me at this two day event, but I know that He is going to teach me something.  I’ve had the privilege of attending the summit for a few years now and have always been blessed by it.  This year, I’m looking forward to hear from Bill Hybels, John Burke, Chuck Colson, Brad Anderson, and my senior pastor, Craig Groeschel.

I’m also looking forward to connecting with some old friends, meeting some online ones for the first time, and making some new friends.

If you’re attending in Chicago, twitter me.

You’re so lucky! Wish I could be there this year. I went to a Summit years ago and haven’t gone since, mainly becuase of a lack of money. I went one year when Erwin McManus spoke…it was AWESOME! I’ll keep you in my prayers. I’ll pray God reveals Himself in a fresh way this week.

Thanks for sharing…and have fun this week,
