Thanks Michelle, Aaron, and Scott.

Scott, Yep. I blog about my weight loss or lack thereof because it keeps me accountable.

I've made a commitment this year to get in shape and lose a little weight while I'm at it. I am not what I would consider overweight but I have gained 10 pounds since taking this part-time ministry position just over a year ago. That is a fairly sizable percentage of my body weight and more weight than I have gained as an adult except for during pregnancy. It is a little overwhelming because I'm not even sure how it happened. More than the weight issue though, I really want to take care of my body so that I can serve God to my fullest capacity. I have always felt that health and fitness were an extension of good stewardship. I view my body as a resource. Weird huh?

I truly hope that you meet your goal for 2008!
