Goodbye 2007, Hello 2008

2007 was an incredible year for me. I can look at the past year and see that it was a major turning point in my life. The last major turning point for me was in 2004 when I went into full time ministry. Back in 2004, after answering God’s call to full time ministry, I knew that my life would never be the same. I had no idea that three years later, God would call me to leave everything and everyone I knew to be part of a church in Oklahoma. This past year was exciting, sad, thrilling, and scary. It’s strange, but I’m thankful for every part of it; even the painful parts. I know that God is using that pain to teach and shape me.

At the beginning of 2007, I had no idea that I’d be living in Oklahoma by the end of the year. So, I’m not even going to try to guess what the end of 2008 is going to look like, but I know that it is going to be a wild ride. Thanks for joining me on this adventure.

BTW, Some of you maybe wondering if I made my goal of losing 50 pounds by the end of 2007. Stay tuned. More on that tomorrow….
