Do I worry? ha! Heck yeah I do! It's always a struggle to not worry & lean totally on God. And then - you feel guilty for not totally trusting in God - and that just unwraps a whole new world of worries , concerns ect...
I find it pretty much impossible to be TOTALLY worry free. i think the key is - what do you do with that worry? Interalize it & try to resolve it? Take it out on your family & kids by being Mr. Grumpy Butt? or - do you turn it over & over & over to God in prayer?
One thing I find very helpful is to just sit in front of the MacBook & start writing...praying. Every little thought I have - mad at God - praise to God - mad at myself. by the end of the writing I'm praising God for what has just been revealed to me.
Worry is a part of life - I'm convinced of it, but totally turning that worry over to God - laying it at His feet & not allowing it to consume you is key.

As for the home situation - have you thought about renting? My sister, in Rockford, decided to do that because of the poor market. Just an option to consider.

praying for you & your family!
